These guys were super fast, very considerate, and gave me price estimates that seemed fair, even though I didn't end up getting my vehicle repaired.

My truck broke down on the freeway near Vienna as I was headed from Nebraska to Atlanta. I had it towed to J & J, and Adam told me right away it was either the clutch or the transmission. Adam gave me a ride to the hotel down the street, since I was planning to wait for an estimate to see if I could afford to fix it. Even though it was late in the afternoon, they got it up on the lift and started assessing the damage. A few minutes after I checked into the hotel, Adam called me to tell me the transmission was toast, and he was hoping I could get my money back for the room if I planned to leave town right away, which I thought was very considerate of him. Instead I stayed in Vienna for the night, and Adam even found someone to buy the remains of the truck off me before I left town. The whole breaking-down-in-rural-Illinois thing wasn't pretty by a long shot, but it could have been a lot worse if Adam hadn't helped me out.
